Who’s Done What?
From some recent feedback we are going to include each week this section called “who’s done what”, this will include some company announcements that we find of interest. This week:
- The bumpy ride continues as markets look for action – For the coming week we have Central Bank Board meetings and some key US data reports. Ultimately the driver of the front end of the Australian curve will be developments in Europe where noise is expected to persist into the G20 meeting in early November.
- European stocks shook off early weakness to end higher, as upbeat U.S. data and Germany’s approval of the European Financial Stability Facility extension propped up confidence – for now, at least.
