Last week or two of June Pay superannuation liability if you want to claim that payment as an expense in the 2014 financial year
Monday 16th June – 30th June If you carry stock, you should perform a stock take.
Monday 30th June Do a backup of your files at close of business day
Monday 14th July Your employees should be provided with their Payment Summaries by this date
Monday 21st July Businesses on monthly IAS or BAS reporting must submit and pay their final IAS and/or BAS report for the year
Monday 28th July Businesses on quarterly BAS reporting must submit and pay their PAYG and GST obligations for the final quarter of 2014
Monday 28th July Final payment date for businesses that haven’t previously paid their final superannuation liability for 2014.
Wednesday 13th August Final date to submit your PAYG withholding payment summary annual report
If You Are A Small Business Without An Accountant Your 2014 Income Tax Return is due:
31 October 2014 for an individual, partnership or trust
28 February 2015 for a company (but if you didn’t lodge your 2013 return on time, or any prior-year returns are outstanding, your 2014 return is due on 31 October 2014).
